The High School Concert Series kicked off on May 11 at Hugh Boyd Secondary School, one of the ten High Schools in Richmond, BC. The program made a stops at five secondary schools prior to the end of the 2017 school year. Students enjoyed an outdoor performance by Vancouver band Good For Grapes, plus a local opener from their respective school and were able to purchase lunch from a local food truck – REEL Mac & Cheese. Before the beginning of the new school year, the Richmond Canada 150 team refreshed the program. For the final three performances, students were treated to a performance by DJ Rico Uno with hype man DJ Goodspin, local hip hop dance group Diamonds in the Rough and National yo-yo champ, Harrison Lee.

It has been a pleasure working alongside School District #38 and the Secondary Schools in Richmond.
