The Mural Painting of the Arrival of SV Titania

In honour of Canada’s 150, The City of Richmond commissioned the painting, Arrival of SV Titania by eminent maritime painter John M. Horton and is permanently on display at City Hall. Professional multimedia artist and muralist, Dean Lauze, has been commissioned to reproduce the painting as an outdoor wall mural on the Steveston Hotel (12111 3rd Ave.) for a larger general audience to enjoy.

Come out and see the muralist Dean Lauze transform the “plain wall” of the Steveston Hotel and recreate John Horton’s Arrival of SV Titania August 23-30, 2017.
For optimum viewing, Dean and his team will work intensively from morning to evening from Wednesday August 23 until Sunday August 27, 2017 and will also be on site Monday August 28 to Wednesday August 30 to complete the much anticipated inaugural City of Richmond Public Art Program mural in Steveston.
