Dance enthusiasts are invited to Canada’s 150th with Anne, Richmond Arts Centre’s second ever gala-style ballet show with performances from advanced level dancers from the highly popular dance program.

Canada’s 150th with Anne takes a spin on the popular tale of Anne of Green Gables while paying homage to Canada’s 150th birthday this year. Sure to captivate its audience, the show features members of the Richmond Youth Dance Company, Richmond Adult Company, Company Apprentices and Pre-Company classes led by Miyouki Jego, Head Instructor and choreographer.

This gala is preceded by the rest of the school year dance program recitals (Happy Birthday Canada! at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.) which feature beginner and intermediate level performances in ballet, jazz, musical theatre and tap.
